Reward Based Task Chart
My 9 year old son has executive functioning disorder.
I highly recommend the book Smart but Scattered. It's available at Amazon:
There are a lot of sample charts for you to copy or to help inspire your own. I devised a chart that I believe may work for us.
Rewards help to motive my son. We use poker chips and call them tokens. They are redeemable for certain activities like computer time, going out for ice-cream and saving up for toys. You'll have to figure out what works best for your family in terms of rewards if they are needed. For now I'd like to share my latest chart I devised for my son:
I hope it helps him....us. It is a continual process to fine tune what will work best and which activities are necessary to be monitored.
If you'd like to download it, please click on the link below. Let me know if it works for you and if you have any suggestions.
I will update you with how this is working in my household and if I make any adjustments to my chart.
